NEW YORK, NEW YORK–(Oct. 22, 2013) - LTU technologies, a pioneer of image recognition technology, today announced a partnership with NEC Asia Pacific (based in Singapore, APAC regional headquarter of NEC Corporation) to work on a large-scale image recognition project based in Singapore.
LTU will be supplying its high performance image matching and image similarity engine as a key part of the final software application solution. The project will involve several hundreds of thousands of images and the use of both Matching and Similarity algorithms.
Mr. Shaun Kwok, Project Director, NEC Asia Pacific, said, “After evaluating several vendors, LTU’s solution was assessed as best-matched to the end-customer’s requirement. LTU technologies’ algorithm was efficient, accurate and scalable.
